Feeling green? Good for any season and skin tone, the darker shades of green are popping up on the runways and stars. Some of the favorites from the Spring 2008 catwalk include Georgio Armani (1), 6267 (2), and Prada(3). Nicole Richie and Ashley Olsen look equally stunning in each of their own shades and outfits.

Spring 2008

Ah. Soon we shall see the great green of the grass, smell the sweet sanguine scent of the sunflowers, and hear the cheerful chirping and calling of the crickets at nightfall. But for now, we wait. However, there is a sign of life. The Spring 2008 runways have come along, sharing with us their enormous array of color, texture, and femininity. Here are some of my favorite runway looks:

1) Alberta Ferreti:

She continues to please me! Every collectio
n has something fresh, fun, and youthful. Her sparkly metallics and flowy fabrics with colors from silver to mustard yellow to a jewel tone turquoise, make me wonder how I hadn't thought of these things before. I must say, if I were any designer, I would be Miss Ferreti.

2) Chloé:
Well, you already know the magnificentness that Chloé can create, so why say more? Take a look for yourself!

3) Giambattista Valli:

Again we see more flowy fabrics (trend alert!). Valli adds more patterns using soft yellows and pinks (perfect for Spring) as well as black and white.

Mary Kate Olsen

Take a cue from MK, trend setter of the moment. We've all copied her look somehow, whether it's her multitude of bracelets, big sunglasses, layering hobo look, or her Manhattan luxury style of feathers, leather, and huge heels. She's always ahead of everyone else, paving the road for future fashionistas.

Mary Kate Favorites:
1) Prada Fringe Napa Bag ($2195)
2) Miu Miu Clutch ($950)
3) Black Tights
4) Red/Black Nail Polish
5) Long straggly hair

Gossip Girl!

It's finally here! Well, not quite actually... but in 2 days yes. On Wednesday, September 19 (9/8 c), the highly anticipated Gossip Girl series will air on CW.
For those of you who aren't aware of this show, it is based off of the Gossip Girl book series by Cecily von Ziegesar. It's about the lives of the wealthy, the sophisticated and the very chic, who attend a private school, go to all the coolest parties, and live the high life - or almost.
Blake Lively, from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, plays Serena, Leighton Meester as Blair, Chase Crawford as Nate, Penn Badgley as Dan, and Connor Paolo as Eric.
Don't miss this - remember September 19!

Rapsodia

You probably have not heard of Rapsodia, a clothing line founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but it's popular over there. Rapsodia designs clothes for
"bohemian, romantic, and feminine women who love rock and roll, being inspired by music, art, trips around the world and different cultures and decades."
The looks are eclectic and different, something for anyone, so go give Rapsodia a try at www.rapsodia.com.ar

Prada

If there's one word that sums up Prada this season it's DELICIOUS. Prada's irresistible and eye catching colors along with her yummy textures create a stunning collection. From the elbow length gloves in colors like orange, burnt red, and dark green, to furry (think Sesame Street) coats, Prada is a total hit. Don't forget your cat eyes and slick, straight hair to finish the look!

Oh My Graycious!

Gray is the new It color for fall. Stock up on different shades and on different garments - one piece would be fine, like a great jacket or dress, but layering and playing with different tones takes this look a step further. Give your outfit some dimension with different textures or add some pop to this neutral color with jewels or metallics. Gray is great for any outfit, whether you're out shopping or going out for the night.

Favorite Looks From Runway:

1) Behnaz Sarafpour
2) FCUK studded dress ($198)
3) Doo Ri.
4) Peter Som
5) Yigal Azrouel
